Chandler Police Investigate Stabbing

CHANDLER, AZ. Chandler police are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred at the 2400 block of East Peach Tree Drive, in Chandler at approximately 1:15 a.m. this morning. The victim, an adult male, was stabbed and received non-life threatening injuries.
At this time investigators have identified the suspect as 27 year-old Mesa resident Ivan M. Gallardo. Gallardo was seen at the Intown Suites, located at Country Club Drive and Guadalupe in Gilbert by Chandler police officers. A perimeter was established and adjoining rooms were evacuated. A search warrant was drafted and served by members of the Chandler SAU team on a room, which had been rented by Gallardo. Gallardo was not located in the room.
Gallardo is described as a Hispanic male, 6’ 3”, 240 lbs, shaved head and a goatee. Chandler Police are asking anyone with information regarding Gallardo to contact the Chandler Police at 480-782-4130. Gallardo is considered to be armed and dangerous.
