Home Invasion Suspect Arrested

CHANDLER, AZ. On August 11, 2008 at 4:35 A.M. three armed men forced their way into a home in the 700 West Block of Monterey Street. The suspects stole a Lexus IS300 as well as personal belongings. After the suspects fled, the bound victims freed themselves and called police. The stolen Lexus was equipped with LOJACK, which led police to the area of Orange and Stanley in the city of Tempe. Once the vehicle was located, police conducted surveillance on the vehicle. At approximately 8:30 A.M., a male subject seen walking in the area matched the description of one of the suspects. The subject was detained and positively identified as a suspect in the robbery. The suspect, 33-year old Tonopah resident Michael John Dvorak, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail for Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault.
Two suspects are still at large and are considered armed and dangerous. One of the missing suspects is described as a white or Hispanic male, shaved head wearing dark clothing. There is no available description for the other missing suspect.
