If your checkbook has been stolen or lost, or someone has been passing counterfeit checks in your name, you need to make a report of the incident with the agency where the checks are being passed If your stolen/lost checks are being used in Chandler by someone forging your signature, you need to first contact your bank to close your account. You will also need to complete an Affidavit of Forgery at your bank for any forged check that has cleared. If you have received a check, money order, or cashiers check for payment for any service or sale of property from another country and found that item is a forgery you will need to report this incident to the Secret Service. http://www.treas.gov/usss/index.shtml
